Jay Spain - Producer/Director/Cinematographer
Jay Spain is an internationally recognized filmmaker based in
Raleigh, North Carolina. A Sundance Film Festival veteran
and a member of the advisory board for the Woods Hole Film
Festival in Massachusetts, Mr. Spain filmed and edited numerous
broadcast and educational films and filmed several narrative
features before directing his first feature documentary, Live and Let Go - An
American Death. Mr. Spain produced and filmed
Moving Midway
which was acquired for distribution by First Run Features and
released to North American audiences premiering in NYC on
September 12, 2008. As a Managing Member of the privately
funded film development partnership, Moving Midway, LLC, Mr.
Spain has been involved in every aspect of the production and
business of this critically acclaimed film. Moving Midway was
picked one of the top two documentaries of 2008 by the New York
Observer & New York Magazine and top ten movies of 2008 by the
LA Weekly. Mr. Spain is currently producing Oil in the Family, a
multi-faceted documentary that weaves together family history,
the cinematic legend Robert J. Flaherty and his classic film Louisiana Story, and our culture’s insatiable appetite for oil

Matt Bowman - Videographer/Editor Matt Bowman is an US Air Force veteran who has furthered his technical skills gained while serving in the Middle East with creative energy in video production. While deployed to Iraq, he provided positive morale by installing over the air TV, radio, satellite feeds, cable TV, and other Armed Forces Network services to over 15 bases. Mr. Bowman was selected as a member of the Air Force’s elite “Tops In Blue” providing morale to soldiers and family members as performer, crew and light technician. He was responsible for set-up, tear-down and transport of over 50,000 lbs of equipment for over 100 performances around the globe. Mr. Bowman has worked on a variety of corporate projects with the cgroup for clients ranging from the Nobel Foundation to Golden Corral. Mike Garr -
Producer/Videographer/Editor Mike Garr is an established video producer in the areas of corporate media production and web based media located in Raleigh, North Carolina. While employed with GSK early in his career, he produced many videos and mid to high level audio visual productions for national event staging. At the cgroup, Mr. Garr has produced and edited numerous corporate informational and educational video projects for live events, media training, public awareness and web marketing. He also frequently serves as a consultant to other business professionals to greatly increase web presence on the internet through innovative video marketing techniques and social media platforms. mike@cgfilm.com |

Edward Slattery -
Producer/Director/Cinematographer Ed has been shooting films since the late 1980's, his credits include feature films (Manna From Heaven, Temps), short films (Leaving The Post, Perfect Goosey's, Hitchcocked) documentaries (Moving Midway, Healing Hands Africa, The Pink Satin Suit) as well as commercials, industrials and television programs. Jon Goldman - Producer/Art
Director Jon Goldman is an award-winning media artist.
His recent work has included producing and directing for Al
Jazeera English, producing and directing innovative animations
for PBS and co-developing an animated webisode series with Jim
Uhls, screenwriter for the film Fight Club and the
recently released film Jumpers. In addition to film,
Goldman is a prolific graphic designer having done extensive
work in branding and identity for a wide variety of clients. His
work is informed by his training as a painter, a kinetic
sculptor and a director for the stage. Mr. Goldman received his
Masters in Science in Visual Studies at MIT (1985) at the Center
for Advanced Visual Studies and has won many awards including an
InterArts grant from the NEA and Rockefeller Foundation for his
computer-controlled interactivity with the inflatable sculpture.
Goldman currently runs his studio, THOUGHT BALLOON MEDIA, which
serves as a laboratory for the development and exhibition of new
work. His past innovative work of gigantic inflatable sculptures
have been exhibited in and on museums and galleries throughout
the U.S., Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. His work is in many
collections including the Smithsonian's Cooper Hewitt National
Museum of Designís permanent collection.

(Breezes, Grand Lido, Starfish and Hedonism), Emerald Coast
Tourism, The Club at Mirasol, Weyerhaeuser Paper, Asheville
Tourism, Uwharrie Pointe Golf Community, The Grove Park Inn,
Kentucky Tourism, The Homestead Resort, Bonita Bay Properties,
North Broward General Hospital, Green Mountain Energy, The
Crystal Coast, and Our Lucaya Resort. Clients have found Murray’s side-by-side combination of
motion and still photography extremely beneficial and cost
effective. He is also known for his experience as an aerial
cinematographer and enjoys the challenge of shooting on location
with professional talent as well as real people. He likes to travel and will go anywhere and shoot anything.

has photographed all of the major Caribbean islands, Bahamas,
Panama, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, China,
